Month: Feb. Series of Birthdays. for this particular day, decided to heed out for hiking.

 Place: Banepa where the centerpiece of the  Hindu's Lord SHiva ( lord of destruction) has been built. the tallest one ( 143 feet) in the asia.Its nearly 45 min drive to the place excludiing the traffic jam. This particular day we were celebrating our friends bday by out hiking. This was an escape from the usual routine life we lead in the city.We got down at the sanga bus stop, total 8 of us. Our gang constitute the loneliest people ( so i like to say it :-) :-) ) coz all the ppl there misses their siblings who are abroad (USA). As usual with us, the journey starts with breakfast at the stop. And up we go. The road leading to the park ( we hadnt known it was park untill we reached there) is a rough one with steep hills. The road is big enough for a vehicle to pass and its still on construction. 

 As for us, we prefer being wild. Instead of heeding the straight way, up we go towards the hill, the narrow path watching the nature beauty's unfolding in front of you with every step.

Our destination turns out to be a park ( 20 min from road walkd shortcut way) ,an appreciately managed one.  it wasnot something we expected. there were many step leading to the figurine . and on the way were decorted with other figurine of the Lord.

We were still exploring the park when i was caught by the lovely wooden house. it was just perfect. upon inquiring we found that the owner of the park ( it being private property) lived there.... it was a tiring effort to move my sight from it.   :-(   i had read houses like that explained in the books, had not expected to see one for real... Hmm.

There were still giving the final touch for the park. Theres going to be additional features there according to the plan laid out like horse riding, yoga classes etc. M looking forward to horse riding.

The park is an great example of a certain person Mr. Jain dream come true.

After this we head out for another destination, Talu Danda ( the flat hill without vegetation) . Up we climb, rooftop of the bus and travel for another half and hour.

 we stop at Kathmandu University for lunch and start our next journey uphill.

   this one requires all the energy you can muster up coz its too steep for us.  And on you go singing on the way breaking it for snacks now and then. The walk this time takes longer , fren says its jst 30 min to reach the top..Really... i wonder .... On the way, we had to hold our breath seeing the nature at its best.

And on the walk contd up and down hill...... The day started early in the moring at 7 and ended at 6 in the evening..... Had to sleep way back on the bus coz of the realization of the sweet taste of the tiredness hitting us.
