Awe, the great outdoors! I can’t think of a more inviting place then Yellowstone & the Grand Tetons. There are so many breathtaking views that it seems almost impossible to rip your eyes away from them. There is no doubt in my mind that the Teton mountain range is the most spectacular one in all of America, when they say Grand Tetons, they mean Grand! The best way I have found to enjoy the beauty of the mountain range is to camp within them! There’s nothing better then the fresh smell of pine woods, the tiny dew drops that form on your tent during early mornings and the animals roaming through your campsite. As long as you are smart with sealing your supplies and remember that you are in bear country then you have nothing to worry about. Hiking in the Tetons is an experience everyone should have! You can see so much more on the rocky trails then you ever could from a car on the roadside! An incredible trail to take would be the Cascade Canyon Trail right near Jenny Lake. You’ll be able to experience Hidden Falls, Inspiration Point and a wide verity of animals including: elk, moose, rodents and even bears! After a long days hike it is always very refreshing to jump into one of the gorgeous blue glacier lakes to cool things down a little. Be sure to journey over to Mormon Row to see one of the world’s most famously photographed old barns, Moulton Barn, built in the early 1900’s.
Yellowstone is a sight no one should miss! It is the world’s oldest national park and probly one of the most remarkable as well! The Grand Loop is a for sure, must do, it is the best and quickest way to run into the most popular and beautiful sights such as: Mammoth Hot Springs, Tower Falls, Artist Point, Yellowstone Lake, the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and of course the most famous Old Faithful. You’ll also discover wild animals everywhere you go, such as: wolves, moose, eagles, elk, bison, bears and many others! Be sure to stop in the Old Faithful Inn, which is the largest log building in existence. It houses an incredible four-sided fireplace made from volcanic rock. The sight and beauty of Yellowstone is an absolute must do!
